Every holiday just get more and more fun as Evalyn grows up. She gets more into the excitement and all the fun activities. With Easter this year she loved the egg hunts compared to last year where she would grab one, sit down and eat what was inside. She was running this time and the weeks following kept asking to do an egg hunt. We also got to color eggs this year. Yes, a few broke but we didn’t even bother last year because I knew it would be a complete disaster. Side note: if you can’t stand the smell of vinegar we did a fun method this year called Kool-Eggs. We will be doing our eggs this way from now on.
Here’s a video of the egg hunt we had with Analise: Egg Hunt With Analise
For Easter we got to be with all of Tim’s family. Our niece and nephew, Grady and Charlotte, were blessed that day so we had a lot to celebrate and had such a good time!
(Evalyn needed no prompting to pose for these pictures. It’s all her!)
At the beginning of April, The American West Heritage Center had Baby Animal Days. It was a bit of an overcast day but we got lucky with missing the big rainstorms. There was one before we left and one when we got home. We couldn’t have timed it any more perfect. We had so much fun! What did we do? We held and petted baby animals. Ducks, chicks, turtles, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, and even bears but we didn’t get to touch them. Just watch and they were so cute! Evalyn also got to ride a pony and we all went on a little train ride.
Oh my gosh... her posing! haha Love that girl. I was so happy you guys could be with us for Easter and for the blessing. Can't wait to see you again, hopefully soon! Love you!
