We had a pretty good Christmas. It felt different of course. Not only because Tim was missing but I'm used to Christmas's where I play games and watch movies all day. Taking care of Evalyn never takes a holiday. She seemed to enjoy her fist Christmas. I think she sensed the excitement because she would not take a good nap all day. Her longest one was 30 minutes, barely. She is also a very social baby and with all the people over she wanted to stay up and smile and talk to everyone.
Here's just one of my latest favorite pictures of my daughter.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, KATHRYN and EVALYN!!! It's always so wonderful to read your blog and see the photos you post! You're doing an AMAZING job, as everyone agrees, and you certainly deserve each and every blessing you get throughout this deployment of Tim's! But, it's especially wonderful to hear you say what a blessing Evalyn's been in your life - despite the sacrifices you make for her each day. That's the amazing thing about sacrificing for something or someone - it makes them even more dear to us! It's strengthens marriages, also, as I see it doing for you and Tim! You don't take each other for granted, and that's a great example for each of the rest of us! We miss you and look forward to seeing you all again soon! Love, Wanda
